For example, if you have an employee that does a lot of driving for you, you will want to learn about any traffic tickets that they have gotten. If they have not reported them to you, and they show up on a background check, you can call the employee to find out what is going on.

Some employees have access to important documents, cash, and more. Understanding their backgrounds will make it easier to determine if you want these employees within certain positions.
